District 6880 Goals
2005-2006

• Literacy- Every Club participate in a Literacy Project

• Water, Health & Hunger- Each Club participate in a project that addresses at least one of these issues

• Membership- Each Club increase membership by Net +1 and in process diversify membership base

• Youth Programs- Each Club participate in or sponsor a youth project (IYE, RYLA, Interact, Rotaract, etc…)

• EREY- Encourage “Every Rotarian Every Year” giving to the Rotary Foundation

• Permanent Fund- Double the number of TRF Permanent Fund Benefactors in District

• Major Donors- Increase the number of TRF Major Donors in District by three (3)

 

In January, 2006 a joint project took place for the distribution of learning kits, stationery to students in tsunami-affected provinces in southern Thailand, with the assistance from several Rotary clubs in Phang Nga and Bangkok. Click here for photos!

Camp ASCCA

Our District supports the efforts of Camp ASCCA in helping children and adults with disabilities achieve equality, dignity, and maximum independence

RYLA

Leadership, Citizenship, Personal Development
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive training program for community youth leaders. Young people chosen for their leadership potential attend an all-expenses-paid seminar, camp, or workshop to discuss leadership skills and to learn those skills through practice.
