To qualify for a Presidential Citation, a Rotary club must achieve the membership goal and complete an activity from three of the six categories listed in the 2009-10 Presidential Citation Brochure (900A-09) (three activities in total). To certify the club’s achievement, this form must be completed, signed, and sent to the district governor for endorsement (do not send forms to Rotary International). The district governor must receive this form by 31 March 2010.

The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is a multi-district, grassroots leadership development program of member districts organized into regional divisions in various parts of the world.

RLI is not an official program of Rotary International and is not under its control.

RLI seeks to have Rotary Clubs in its member districts identify those Rotarians who appear to have the potential for future club leadership (not necessarily as club presidents) and provide those so identified with a quality education in Rotary knowledge and leadership skills so important in voluntary organizations. Rotary Clubs in District 6880 are advised to hold funds collected for Haiti Earthquake Relief efforts until the District administration can determine the best way to manage those funds and assure that they make it into the correct hands in Haiti. District 6880 has previously discussed a coordinated District response for disasters.   At this time the District is collecting contributions to send to the Rotary District Governor in Haiti.  The Dothan Rotary Club has a disaster relief foundation 501C3 set up.
